Assembly Worker in Shipbuilding

About us
We are looking for assembly workers with practical experience in shipbuilding or in the interior outfitting of ships. Experience in assembly work on the ship's hull or in ship interior outfitting is required.
Your tasks
- Installation of prefabricated supporting structures on the ship's hull
- Attachment of U-profiles and similar profiles to ceilings and walls
- Screwing, aligning, and fastening profiles and components
- Installation of ceiling and wall panels on already installed profiles
- Installation of wall cladding and column cladding
- Installation and assembly of aluminum sandwich panels or lightweight panels, e.g. MetaWell or similar systems
- Assembly and installation of furniture in ship interior outfitting
- Working with adhesives, sealants, and fastening materials
- Clean and careful work according to specifications
What we offer
- Compensation: €15-17 per hour, depending on work experience
- Accommodation will be provided; depending on availability, approximately 1 to 2 people will live in one room. Room assignments cannot be chosen freely.
- Working hours are generally Monday to Saturday, approximately 8-10 hours per day within the period from 7:00 to 18:00; project-related deviations are possible.
- Project duration: expected to be nine months
- Vacation is possible. For each full month on assignment, 2 vacation days are granted.
- Vacation must be requested at least one month before the desired start date.
- Lithuanian employment contract
Requirements
- Practical experience in shipbuilding or ship interior outfitting
- Experience with MetaWell or comparable aluminum sandwich or lightweight construction panels is an advantage
- German or English language skills required
