As a strong and reliable public transport partner, Verkehrsgesellschaft Vorpommern-Rügen (VVR) serves as a vital link within the Vorpommern-Rügen district. Every day, it provides mobility options for both locals and the region's many visitors, serving as a complement or alternative to private car travel.

The VVR’s service area corresponds exactly to the boundaries of the Vorpommern-Rügen district. Up to 200 buses operate across 71 routes daily, transporting approximately 11.7 million passengers per year. In addition to its administrative headquarters in Grimmen, the VVR maintains depots with attached workshops in Bergen auf Rügen, the Hanseatic city of Stralsund, and the "Amber City" of Ribnitz-Damgarten.


Your tasks

- You independently, efficiently, and competently perform all necessary maintenance and repair tasks on buses in accordance with vehicle manufacturers' specifications and guidelines.
- You carry out fault diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- You are proficient in using vehicle-specific technical IT systems, particularly Star Diagnosis, Xentry, or comparable systems from other commercial vehicle manufacturers.
- You are capable of operating all machinery and equipment required for proper repair procedures.
- You independently identify the spare parts needed for maintenance work, taking quality standards and costs into account.
- You are committed to continuously acquiring new knowledge to maintain a future-proof understanding of the functional technical aspects of vehicle technology.
- You ensure the safety of our buses through your responsible and conscientious work.
- You are highly solution-oriented and a strong team player.


What we offer

- Classification in pay group 6, level 1 of the TV-N MV collective agreement (€3,353.00 gross/month)
- 39-hour work week (full-time)

Requirements

- Relevant professional experience in commercial vehicle automotive electronics/electrics
- Precise, independent, and reliable work style
- Team spirit, reliability, flexibility, and diligence
- Strong sense of responsibility and high level of commitment
- Strong willingness to learn and interest in further training, including future-oriented training in hydrogen drive systems
- Willingness to work shifts
- Physical resilience
- Safety awareness
- Class B driver's license required; Class CE or DE license desirable
- Physical fitness and willingness to obtain Class CE and DE driver's licenses
