About us
As a strong and reliable public transport partner, the Vorpommern-Rügen transport company is a vital link in the Vorpommern-Rügen district. It offers daily mobility to locals and numerous visitors alike, as a supplement to or alternative to private cars.
The VVR's service area is identical to the Vorpommern-Rügen district in terms of both size and boundaries. Up to 200 buses operate daily on 71 routes, transporting approximately 11.7 million passengers annually. In addition to its administrative headquarters in Grimmen, the VVR maintains depots with attached workshops in Bergen auf Rügen, the Hanseatic city of Stralsund, and the amber town of Ribnitz-Damgarten.
Your tasks
- Polite and open-minded interaction with passengers and providing information when passengers have questions.
- Punctual and reliable execution of all assigned journeys in scheduled and charter services in shift work
- Reliable collection of fares in accordance with the applicable tariffs
- Accounting for all fare revenue in accordance with company regulations
- Compliance with all legal regulations and company instructions in road traffic or for the execution of the driving service

- Monthly starting salary €3178.05 as a basis (€3298.05 from 2027)

Requirements
- Possession of a Class D/DE driving licence, or alternatively at least a Class C/CE driving licence.
- Ideally, you already have professional experience in passenger transport and vehicle driving.
- Willingness to work shifts and weekends
- Good manners and enjoyment of customer-oriented service
- Good comprehension skills, resilience and conscientious work ethic
- German language skills A2-B1
