About us
Vita Comunis gGmbH is the operator of the St. Elisabeth senior citizens' home in the heart of Fritzlar. The St. Elisabeth Seniorenstift provides a home for 143 residents.
The staff at St. Elisabeth Seniorenstift aim to organize the day for our residents in such a way that all their needs are catered for. Continuity in the services offered is very important, as a changing daily structure tends to contribute to restlessness. The daily structure should not overwhelm the residents.
The day-structuring offers are put together based on the needs of the residents and are tailored to their abilities. The activities are carried out by physiotherapists, day care assistants and social care staff. In addition to morning exercise and afternoon group activities (singing, puzzles, etc.) in our hall, our residents are visited by Emma the dog and her owner as well as the Hollerhof with its animal-assisted activities. On Wednesdays, as part of their "social-genius project", the Ursuline pupils come with Ms. Meurer and, during the warmer months, the ice cream van with delicious ice cream for our residents.
